Samsung Galaxy repair in Amsterdam
Samsung makes outstanding AMOLED panels, and that has one important consequence for repairs: on most Galaxy models the screen is bonded to the frame rather than lifting out as a module. Replacing only the glass is technically possible on many devices, but risky; we usually recommend a complete module approach so you do not end up with a second repair when the panel develops lines later.
On the A series the charging port normally sits on its own small board, which keeps that repair relatively light. On the S series and the foldables disassembly is more involved, and we deliberately take more time.
Foldables: Fold and Flip
The Z Fold and Z Flip are the most demanding devices we see. The inner screen is a flexible panel with a protective layer that must not be peeled off, the hinge mechanism is sensitive to dust, and the device has two displays that both need testing. A repair here takes more than an hour, and we say so honestly rather than promising a deadline we will miss.
Under-display fingerprint sensor
Many Galaxy devices use an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor beneath the display. After a screen replacement it needs calibration and the right screen protector: a thick film, or one with trapped air, leaves you with a sensor that no longer recognises your finger. We test the sensor before you leave the shop and advise on which protector actually works.

Frequently asked questions
My Galaxy has a green or pink line on screen. Can that be fixed?
That is a known failure in the AMOLED panel or its driver, often after a drop or prolonged heat. Software will not clear it; the panel needs replacing. Come in for a diagnosis and we will see whether the panel alone is at fault or the connector too.
